The benefits of living in a private community are obvious. The benefits of living at the beach are obvious. But the 9-car limit that a friend of mine told me about is the best benefit of all. A good friend of mine who is in his early 60s told me that he had to get out of the Big City aka The Big Apple. He moved down to the Carolina Coast with his wife and moved into a Myrtle Beach private community. When I asked him why he choose this area he said, when we were looking for houses he had a 9 car limit. If he ever pulled up to a stop sign in the private community he was looking at it and there were more than 9 cars it was time to go.
